Welcome to HS French Flint's brand new website. 

A legend on the World Wide Web, the late Tom Kolter, introduced us to what became the internet in about 1992 and consequently we were on the web before most people had heard of it. If you were familiar with our old site you will realise that an update was long overdue!

HS French Flint is a very old business that has continued reinventing itself for nearly two centuries. The oldest part was formed to import the newly invented FLINT GLASS from France in 1824. Today we still import glass containers from France and many other European countries as well as the Far East, but over 70% of our glass bottles and jars are made in the U.K.

We specialise in supplying to the Food and Beverage industry but also stock a wide range of Cosmetic, Toiletry, Pharmaceutical and Industrial containers in both glass and plastic, along with all the associated caps, corks, stoppers and closures.

HS French Flint have a range of bottles and jars manufactured to our own design, but are also stockists for all the major European glass factories. We have THOUSANDS of different designs and capacities in stock and specialise in being able to offer single cases as well as multiple pallets of most containers from our own warehouses.

We have premises in London and North Lincolnshire. Our main office, showroom and a small warehouse is near London Bridge whilst our main warehouse and subsidiary showroom is near Scunthorpe. We ship all over the world but you can also collect orders from either of our premises. Please see opening hours above and note that our Saturday opening is for pre-ordered collections only.

We are proud of our friendly and knowledgeable Sales team, our flexible warehouse staff who work incredibly hard to achieve nearly impossible same-day or next day despatches, and our visitor-friendly premises with plenty of free car parking. Our London premises are also very well served by public transport being close to London Bridge station and riverbus stop.

HS French Flint value every order and are as happy to supply 40 jars as 40 pallets. You would be surprised how many of our largest customers, who are now household names, started buying by the box (and collecting on their bicycle in one famous case!)

Key areas of food packaging include: Pickle Jars, Chutney Jars, Jam Jars, Preserve Jars, Honey Jars, Marmalade Jars, Spice Jars, Oils Bottles, Vinegar Bottles, Sauce Bottles, Beer Bottles, Wine Bottles, Spirit Bottles and Liqueur Bottles. We also stock several ranges of home-preserving and storage jars similar to the Kilner jars of old. We stock the Kilnclip Jars, Ermetico Jars, Le Parfait Jars, Bocal Jars, NVC Jars, Mason and Ball ranges.

Our storage jars and tableware also feature recycled glass.

We have a selection of miniature bottles and jars that find great demand for Wedding Favours and various spice jars and stacking bottles that feature grinders and sprinkler necks. Our jars and bottles have featured in many films and adverts including Harry Potter and Oil of Olay.
